What We Do
Since 2014, our mission has been to help you uncover your highest academic potential by pairing you with a highly vetted educator--often times an expert in their respective field--who desires one thing: to offer you a chance to illuminate your interest and produce a highly unique learning plan fitted exclusively to you.
Many educators are in charge of large classroom settings, and as such, find it difficult to tailor their instruction to your unique learning style. That’s where we come in. After an initial assessment to gauge learning habits, our tutors provide an individualistic plan aimed at guarenteeing you maximum learning and retention.
We have molded our process after emerging research in the fields of educational psychology and neurology, and feel that we can provide you a truly unique means of understanding a given discipline.
Our
Story
A2Z was founded after creator and long-time tutor, Zach, took to tutoring students in his undergraduate organic chemistry course. Hoping to share with others his passion for the fields of chemistry and biology, Zach soon realized the key to understanding a course was to instill an interest in it. Thinking outside of the box has always been a primary motivator in A2Z's tutoring strategy, often approaching tutoring from a student's frame of reference. When you can engage and motivate with a student on their terms, you often find an easier avenue to understanding difficult concepts. Illuminating a hidden interest is a passion of ours, and we strive to maintain not only educational, but personal connections with our clients. Students are regarded as the administrators of their own sessions, and have a role in commanding the direction of their respective instruction. Our approach is backed by science, and we believe you will see the difference; in fact, the overwhelming majority of our students find themselves increasing by entire letter grades after only one month of instruction.
